Trips and Visits
There is a detailed programme of trips and visits organised to enrich learning, motivate pupils and make learning fun. e.g. visits to Hampton Court, the Science Museum, presentations from the Life Education Centre, work with the Urban Learning Foundation. Years 5 and 6 also have the opportunity to attend a residential school journey at an activity centre.The school relies on the good will of parents to cover the costs of these additional trips and visits. However, no child will be excluded from the trip if there are problems paying for the experience. Consent from parents will be sought on each occasion. Fund raising in school and grants from charitable foundations are sought to help all pupils access as many different educational experiences as possible.
