After-School Clubs

Clubs

A variety of clubs, which are from 3.30 to 4.30pm, are available termly.  You will be advised of the clubs available for each class on the first Friday of each term and places are allocated on a first come basis. The cost of clubs will now be £15 a term.

MONDAYS

Craft Club

Reception, Years 1 & 2

In craft club we cover many different crafts that all EYFS & key stage 1 children are able to do, using many different materials.  We encourage teamwork with peers, as well as with children of other age groups.

Football Club

Years 5 & 6                                                                                           

In football club, the children train with a coach from Chelsea Football Club. This club also prepares children to use their new skills when representing our school in competitions.

Lego Club

Years 3, 4 & 5                                                                                              

Lego club was a requested many years ago by the children and remains a firm favourite. The children use their imaginations to build fantastic objects with Lego.

Handwriting Club

Years 1 & 2

Does your child need a little help with their handwriting? This club will help your child to form their letters correctly and so, improve their handwriting.

Drama Club

Year 3 & 4

Join us for a term of creative fun in our weekly drama classes ran by professional directors from the Lyric Hammersmith. The classes will not only teach basic drama skills but are also a great tool to increasing confidence and communication skills. The term will end in an informal sharing at the school that all friends and family are invited to.

TUESDAYS

Media Club

Years 3, 4, 5 & 6                                                                                      

Media club aims to make a range of films available to young people in order to challenge, educate and inspire. Club members will use media related tools to search for films on the website that they want to watch, interact with the film industry, submit reviews and enter competitions.

Your Turn, My Turn

Year 1 & 2

In this club your child will learn how to play an assortment of board games from snakes and ladder and dominoes to The Disney Princess memory game!  The aim of this club is to develop social skills such as turn taking as well as developing children’s learning of numbers and letters in a relaxed and fun environment.

Lego Club

Year 1 & 2                                                                                               

Lego club was a request many years ago by the children and remains a firm favourite. The children use their imaginations to build fantastic objects with Lego.

WEDNESDAYS

Sewing and Knitting Club  

Years 3, 4 & 5                                                                            

At this club, your child can learn to knit and sew, choosing to knit their own scarf or work as a team to make a blanket or quilt.

Multi-skills Club

Years 1 & 2                                                                                   

Multi-skills club involves a very wide range of activities to improve children’s basic movement and builds fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, running, jumping and striking. A must for all budding sports stars! The children will also learn the basic rules of football.

THURSDAYS

Phonics Club

Reception & Year 1                                                                              

Do you enjoy phonics or do you think that your child needs a little bit of extra support? If so this is the club for you. Come along and play games as you learn a new sound each week.  It’s a whole lot of Phonics Fun! 

Skittleball

Years 3, 4 & 5                                                                             

This club is energetic and fun. Children can learn to play a new sport - skittleball - and can then take part in the borough's competitions during the year.

Woodwork Club

Years 3, 4 & 5

Come and learn woodworking skills. Plan, design and make a variety of articles from wood and take them home to impress your friends and family.
